I love Marci.... >>

I will be the first to admit that I have not been impressed with her appearances thus far. Perhaps she is camera shy. She was fumbling the ball this morning when the numbers came out this morning.

But in all fairness, here is background( provided on the CNBC site
===========================

Marci Rossell
CNBC Chief Economist
Marci Rossell joined CNBC in September 2001 as CNBC’s Chief Economist. Rossell covers all aspects of the economy including the Federal Reserve Bank and major economic indicators. She appears on “Squawk Box” from 7-10 am ET, as well as other CNBC programs throughout the business day.

Rossell joined CNBC from OppenheimerFunds, Inc., where she served as vice president, corporate economist and investment spokesperson. At Oppenheimer, she worked closely with portfolio managers and research analysts to develop investment themes and ideas for Oppenheimer’s equity and fixed-income product lines. She also served as spokesperson for the company’s investment strategies and market outlook. Prior to joining OppenheimerFunds Inc., she was a manager for Deloitte & Touche LLP, where she provided economic consulting and expert testimony for clients. Rossell launched her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas where she provided economic analysis of national and local issues to the bank’s president.

In addition to appearing on CNBC, she has been featured on numerous financial news programs and has been interviewed by leading print publications including Business Week, USA Today, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times and The Boston Globe. Rossell holds a Ph.D. and B.S. in economics and a B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.

I loved Marcy getting slapped down by the mortgage guy who was on as a guest this morning. It was pretty hysterical. That was actually worth watching.

And her fumbling over the economic numbers was truly pathetic.
