Some of the MU puts expire in Dec which is ample time for the pre-earnings-disaster sell off.
So you believe that MU will tank in December after Intel announces at Comdex in Nov that 1/2 of 845 P4 chipset production will support DDR SDRAM in Dec. MU is the lowest cost of producer and most cash in bank leader.

If Yankees will World Series, I expect big rally in markets which when you Dec selloff occurs will get us back down to where we are now. I went to mall yesterday with daughter to trick and treat. KB toys had store stocked to ceilings with toys based upon pre-Sep 11 sales forecast. High schooled sales clerk said they gave out candy to hundreds of children but only had 5-6 sales in 3 hours in afternoon. No matter how glum Christmas retail season looks, all that shi* will be cleared out with discounts by Jan. US consumers can't pass up discounts, weather they be toys retial or cars with 0% interest.

I am not as pessimistic as you. I think you should email Tony Blair to get your boys out of Afganistan before things heat up.
