KDAVY...good game plan...strategy modification..

I have used this with other stocks and here is how I would approach it with AMAT.

Lets make the assumption that AMAT will trade near the $35.00 per share price.

1) tomorrow I would buy some Dec 35's if AMAT retreats to the $35.00 price.

2) AMAT falls to 32 prior to earnigs...then I would buy some Jan.35's

3) AMAT falls to below 30....then I would buy some Feb. 30's or the 32.50's (if they are available)

What this kind of strategy does is protect you if your price objective is correct but the time frame is that you initially chose is incorrect. (common problem).

I would look at the big four (AMAT, LRCX, NVLS, and KLAC) figure out the cost factors for each and proceed from there.

Does anyone see any problems with this king of strategy?
