Velo, I think you are saying that the 30 year bond is a good deal for the buyer. This means it's a bad deal for the government and the taxpayers. Why then should the government keep issuing it? There is no sacred right to 30 year bonds. They did not exist before the seventies. And no other country uses them. In a deflationary environment, which IMO will be more likely than inflation, the government would be stupid to keep issuing them to a market that is still afraid of inflation. I think I am with sandeep on this.

Been looking at Velo's stuff for close to a year now (raptorgroupresearch.com), and he does a yeoman's job of explanation, consistent updates, etc. Its helped me tremendously in the past, and I look forward to the same type help in the future <G>
