I am trying to figure out if the world-wide recession is going to depress the price of oil for the next 2-3 years despite whatever production cuts OPEC may be able to agree on.

But the world-wide production of paper money seems sure to accelerate, and it may be that it is better to own oil than to own paper no matter what happens.

Investing seems more and more like an exercise in jumping from one ice floe to the next.
