update on 10-30-2001...the day before the GDP.. FROM THE 1110 SPX TOP LAST WEEK, WE HAVE FALLEN TO 1153, THATS 57 POINTS... A BIG MOVE DOWN...I WOULD BE ULTRA CAUTIOUS HERE..BUT I AM GOING LONG FOR A SCALP.. I STILL HOLD CSCO HERE...AND BOUGHT JNPR TOO.. IF WE CLOSE OK, I MAY TAKE QLGC AS WELL... I HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT THE VERY NEXT ATTACK...IT WILL COMPLETELY DEMORALIZE THIS COUNTRY..NO IF'S ANDS OR BUTS...WILL IT STOP ME FROM MY GAME PLAN??..NOT A CHANCE..I AM NOT INVESTING 100% OF MY LONGER TERM MONEY HERE..JUST A VERY SMALL BEGINNING PHASE IN TYPE AMOUNT...I HAVE ALREADY TOLD YOU THAT THE COMING PULLBACK IN LATE NOV/DEC IS ALMOST A SURE THING...SO WHY AM I DOING THIS NOW??? OJ: 9/11 was Al Qaeda's best punch... We're still standing... Aside from some Anthrax mailings and threats about bridges, they're going to be mostly on the run... The market senses this... I don't think there will be any major attack that will demoralize the country... But, I do think that the Al Qaeda network will become more demoralized day after day, bomb after bomb, arrest after arrest... We are just beginning to step on the gas... The Nasdaq remains above its 13 day MA... A test of the 1800 area is coming... I agree that the 1600 area offers good support for any type of final bottom test... But for me, the glass is becoming more than half full as far as America's economic prospects are concerned... Jim
