Serisouly though, I enjoy sports talk, but only as long as it stays out of market hours.

Too much consensus on the Yankees winning. As a contrarian, I'll have to take the other side of the bet. -g

*OT* Final Yankee comment from me today..

I have as much a reason as anyone to dislike the Yankees. I was a Royals fan as a kid, and watched the Yankees first beat up, and then just barely beat the Royals year after year. More than once, the Yanks sent me to bed crying of the injustice (bad pun intended) of it all.

I can't say that I am a Yankee fan now, as a matter fact, I'd rather see the BoSox, Cubs, or any other number of teams win the Series. But the drama of the last 2 nights (in the shadow of Sept.'s horrific events, recent Yankee comeback history/winning w/this team last 5 years, and the century-long Yankee yore)..well, the drama and sheer impossibility of these moments does not escape me...and as a sports fan, I love a great comeback story.

This goes down among the classics. But the last chapter isn't written yet. If this goes 7, it may go down as the greatest series ever. Imagine R. Johnson coming out of pen (on NO REST) in final game w/D'Backs up on a run...hell, if the Yanks win the next game, its STILL one of the best of all-time...

The best: 1985 KC Royals vs. St.Louis! g
