8:12AM EMC Corp (EMC) 13.03: UBS Warburg notes that competitor Hitachi Data Systems lowered its revenue outlook; UBS believes that of the three major storage vendors, IBM is gaining the most share, Hitachi is second, and EMC is losing share; says with little likelihood of any of these three pulling out, conditions will get worse and EMC, which is trading at a 23% premium to 1991-98 valuations, has near-term risk to $7.

I have no idea about the situation, or why they would
make their stand public ? Now that they are going
capitalistic I doubt they are any more
honest than our government is. <g>
