"I wonder what Muslims think of a man whose resume shows the most years under the heading "drinking problem."

cary,
I couldn't give a shit what muslims think of his resume. Points 1&2 are well taken and hopefully congress/senate/mccain will rise to the occasion. Why do you have to sink to this level? What skeletion do you have in your closet that wouldn't look good on a resume? Or are you perfect? If the latter I would really worry about you. mike

1. The party of the "president" has made a joke of efforts to stimultate the economy with an incredibly partisan and stupidly ineffective bill from the House.

I agree that a fiscal stimulus bill is a bad idea, but just about any president would have pushed for it under these circumstances.

2. The party of the "president" has passed, in the HOUSE, an airport security bill that is diameterically opposed to the UNANIMOUS bill from the Senate.

The bills agree on most of their provisions. The only one they disagree on is who will run airport security. I favor Bush's/the House's version where airport security would be set up in a way that is similar to what they do in Israel. Federal oversight of private employees.
