Zeev... remember this could be an ideal environment for these markets to go higher on a wall of worry..I know you have been 100 percent right on your calls and the cycle guy has the top on the 4th whcih is Sunday so maybe its today..
But the R word is out and I am thinking once its out the Recession is over..
The MSFT settlement is very bullish for the market..
I think they sell the news but then go higher on MSFT and that can bring the markets higher..BWDIK..

Zeev,

Yup, I'm feeling pretty good about the trade, and I can wait a few days for it to turn profitable, if that is what it takes. <g> I seriously don't think the CAPEX companies are going to see any uptick in their business for several quarters, its going to take a lot of demand to get the foundries' utilization rates up to 80%+, an area that usually starts to spurn CAPEX purchases. The other ICs companies will be in no rush either, other than technology purchases, IMHO.

Cisco's bit of positive guidance on tuesday combined with MSFT settlement could turn this thing into jet fuel. MM already have SOX on their side along with those free upgrades.

This was posted by someone on another thread.
It seems to reinforce the turnip view.

Hi Zeev,

Your Q, all down except BRCM. Does this mean I can safely short BRCM now?
