Yes, I absolutely agree about the Bat man. Until just after 9/11, his web site (which I follow for laughs) still had very high "year end" forcasts. The pisser is that now all these "permabull" gurus can hide behind "well, it WOULD have happened if not for 9/11." Which is bullshit, really because we all know that the Naz was not headed anywhere near 5000 at the end of 2000 or 3000 by the end of 2001 (Batman's predictions). So, he, too should be fired (why the hell do they pay him, anyway...Gruntal HAS to have MULTITUDES of ANGRY investors) and forced onto CNBC for a full confession. Then he and Fleckenstein should go do something of value for society... sell shoes, collect trash or maybe learn to say "fries with that, sir". It beats continuing this charade of gazing into the crystal ball and proclaiming that "I know".
