Well put, Ken. Though I get offended by the opinions of wacky groups, it also makes for better reality television than J. Springer, Survivors, The Weakest Dink, Temptation Oil-Land, numerous dating shows, etc. Long live Brian Lamb & C-Span.

I think it is important to reveal all aspects of American life -- to do otherwise is to live a lie.

There's a distinction to be made between "revealing all aspects" and "lending a megaphone". I didn't see the program in question but since it's CSPAN I presume that the speeches were aired in their entirety without comment.

Everyone has a constitutional right to free speech. No one has a constitutional right to CSPAN airtime. It is not necessarily an act of prudence or judgement to give equal time to wackos. Lies that are repeated without answers can sway belief among the ignorant.

completely disagree...this ain't the Muppets.

Well, we'll completely agree to disagree ...

Please remember that these very folks you do not want to see on CSPAN are also paying their cable company to broadcast your views 23 hours a day.

Sorry, never appeared on any media outlet ... not radical or off the wall enough for them to have any interest. I would imagine though that if I preached death to a particular segment of society or partook in modern day witch burnings, they would flock to my door. Just because someone has a "cause" doesn't mean it has to be heard.

I think it is important to reveal all aspects of American life -- to do otherwise is to live a lie.

I don't place propaganda against the government and preaching hatred on the same level as "aspects of American life".

To be quite honest, I see nothing constructive in those who preach hatred of any type. So, for me, there is nothing to be learned in their message.

The death, the destruction we have all witnessed, not just recently but throughout history, emanates from one thing .... hatred. To give it weight, to support its' preaching in any form is to be part of the problem.

Peace .... JB
