BWAC, semi group is up on September trade association reports. Saw reports that Oct is very weak, possibily because orders from Oct pulled into Septmember. Anyway, was able to do a trade on TER and TXN, but not now holding.
Big question is what to do now! That depends on many factors, mostly personal levels of tolerance for different events both financial and geo-political. For traders just go with the crowd! For investors that believe value is important and are buying companies rather than a market, it is hard to make a case for sustained buying after the recent run-up. I am however, still finding compelling values, but mostly in the small cap arena. I may even start the year end accumulation process shortly. When I begin, it will be in companies where I know their financials very well and the DCF of their earnings stream shows compelling value and would continue to hold value in a worst case event situation. Right now that does not include TER or TXN.
