As I expected, your campaign on Hitchens behalf has ended abruptly when he speaks negatively about Israel. I thought you meant that the Arab evacuation of Palestinians was the major factor. That is still what I get out of this sentence. Regardless, I am glad we are in agreement. Various exhaustive studies produced either no record of the Arab appeals or a few minimal records of the appeals. It was terrorists like Menachem Begin, Yitzhak Shamir, and Elie Wiesel leading the charge to forcibly oust the native population. Tom
