c2,

<< Other than the expensive Communiator, does Nokia have anything approaching the T68? >>

Not really. Coming soon 6310 would be the closest ....

But mark this date on your calendar.

Novemver 19th.

Dust off your Harry Belafonte records.

DAY OHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

<< I'm not sure the Communicator has GPRS but I could be wrong. >>

Initial 9210 is GSM HSCSD only.

Next cut will be GSM GPRS HSCSD.

The reason for this is that when it was in final design stage the Symbian SDK did not support GPRS. It does now and cdma will be supported in the next release (but that releases is a ways out).

Then in no paricular order:

* add EDGE

* add WCDMA

* add 1xRTT

<< other than the Communicator, Nokia does not have any phones with color screens, GPRS, HSCSD and SMS capabilities >>

No color screens .............. YET.

The 6310 has HSCSD (and Bluetooth and SynchML) as does the Nokia Card Phone 2.0, and the Nokia 6210, 7110, 9110 and 8210. .

SMS. Virtually all Nokia phones for all technologies have SMS (two-way) with the exception of some cdma models since two-way SMS kinda got lost in the cdma shuffle. Nokia smart messaging is really accountable for the hypergrowth in messaging (currently 1 billion per day).

DAY OHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

<< I don't follow the Nokia products too closely >>

You might want to familiarize yourself with the four Nokia reference designs (maybe becoming 5).

I love my new Samsung N200

You LOVE your phone?
