Andreas, those are two completely different things. In one case, Intel is testing two systems that they determine to be mainstream. This can be determined by looking at volume outs of different products through the channel. AMD's 760 chipset is the best selling chipset for the Athlon, so it makes sense if Intel were using this as a baseline.

On the other hand, you are suggesting if AMD benchmarked their high end 1.53GHz Athlon on a high performance chipset, against something that Intel is clearly aiming at the low end markets. I had suggested the matching of two mainstream high performance systems, yet you are postulating about one high end system, and one low end system.

Sorry, but I wouldn't consider that a good comparison.
