Tim, you know what they say about certain claims requiring certain proof, and extraordinary claims requiring extraordinary proof? You don't go around calling Intel outright liars, and then hope that someone else backs you up later.

I know that making strong claims sounds like a good retort at the time when you're arguing with someone who sounds unreasonable, but lowering yourself like this is not the best way to get your point across.

"Can anyone help me out here?"

Unfortunately, JC did not start recording transcripts of Intel's CCs until recently. But for Q2, Intel was claiming steady market share, despite erosion.

" We held market segment share in the quarter, and as I will describe in a few minutes are poised for market share growth throughout the second half of 2001"
