I think the logical conclusion is that recessions are inevitable because lousy policies are inevitable

Ben, Corporations and other special interest groups pay big bucks to get those lousy policies enacted into law. Such as the "we love Microsoft" schtick at the Bush White House and the INjustice Dept.
