Not talking about GWB. He's just a cheerleader. I'm talking about the so-called economic recovery bill passed last week in the U.S. House by a vote of 216-214. The bill calls for $1.4 billion (that's B) in tax breaks for IBM, about $700 million each for GM and GE, on and on. And what about the laid-off workers? They get to stand in line while the Republican House members urinate on them.

Actually on this I agree with Flap. The Republicans tend to favor the Big corporations and the wealthiest tax payers. Now let me clarify that statement by saying that I believe that all of us are way over taxed and that the government should only be in the business of defending our nation and not into the health care and retirement business etc etc. But the middle class tax payer should be getting more back and the wealthiest could do with less.
