That could be true. But it seems just as plausible that US intelligence has absolutely no clue on what the next target is. There were hints of a second attack on the WTC prior to September 11 but US intelligence never put the pieces together. While it is very likely that we may be intercepting communication among terrorist cells here in this country or in Europe, the odds of intercepting communication directly from bin Laden and his close circle of cohorts now are almost nil (they're probably hiding in caves somewhere and aren't going to be using any modern forms of interactive communications to divulge their last known location). Or how about this.... Isn't it just as likely the US government may be alerting the public of further terrorist attacks to present a false sense of security to the American public (i.e. they're on the ball, when in fact, they may not be) or to desensitize Americans against the likely possibility of future terrorist retaliations.
