How myopic! Gawd Almighty!!! It started about oil. It is now about Islamic fundamentalism with an 11th century mentality against the "modernizing world", i.e. North and South America, some of Asia including China, Russia and Europe, Japan, against fundamentalist fanatics who (so what, oil got them there, they are THERE) would rather die for their sick version of a deity than live in the world of each today.
