Flap after Sep 11 the Democrats will begin to resemble the Kennedy Democrats of the 60's and not the Hillary Democrats of the 90's. There is not much difference between the moderate Democrats or Republicans. The trial lawyers get more under the Dems and the oil companies get more under the Repubs. The rest of us pay for the above

"Bush's party likely to lose big three polls

The Guardian

American politics can be mystifying, even to its practitioners. The Democrats
appear to be on the canvas, unable to move, never mind land a political punch,
owing to the mood of patriotic unity and the popularity of President George
Bush. Yet in next Tuesday's elections the Democrats are expected to win the
three major contests, every one of which would be a gain from the Republicans."

When did we start checking out British newpapers for analysis of our political parties?

As far as Tuesday's elections.......we'll see.
