ralph,

got a rag on Teckcominco coming

LOL....I wouldn't touch it....there is no heir apparent in the Keevil clan. So what you say? Well, I reckon Teckcominco will undergo a creeping takeover by non other than everyone's favorite shysters, Noranda and the Bronfmans. Look how they have turned Falconbridge into a cash cow by loading it up with preferred shares so they can strip the cash out before any other shareholders get theirs. The same thing will happen to Teckcominco. Maybe a little upside here and there on cyclical swings, but better places to put my money than in that POS. Looking forward to your rag er rant on Teckcominco:-))

Sounds like you have similar ideas to my dad. They are in their second house, both built by him, except for things like pouring foundations, and so on. They have been in the house for at least 5 years. Baseboards are also still required. Dad keeps finding other projects. He did do the brickwork for the fireplace that encloses the woodburning stove in the basement this summer. It's just about dead center in the house. It seems to need only about 2 logs to heat the whole house, quite nicely. And the main recreation room (aka computer lab) got finished as well. Drop ceiling and paint & carpet. No baseboards yet either. They have 25 acres of wood lot, so firewood isn't much of a problem. My kids helped stack some, they are still at an age so that that was fun.
Dad's newest distraction is computers. He's been puttering with them for ages, we had a KIM1 (good luck finding out what that it) and a commodore64 growing up. Now he has their pc that they got about 4 years ago, another one that he has built, my old one and a used laptop. All work!!!

All the best,
Margie
