Let me be clear.

The rule about 3 individual trades active at any one time stays the same. If you are currently holding 3 open trades and you notice another stock , you must first close an open position to allow your new trade to take place

So in conclusion.

1.A maximum of 3 open trades at any one time

2. A Maximum of 3 daily Entries are allowed as long as rule #1 is not violated

3. A Maximum of 2 Entries per day in any one stock . The second Entry in one stock would require you to close the first position before initiating the second. Example, Buy CLS, Close CLS, Buy CLS Close CLS on one day would count as 2 Entries for the day and also count as the maximum 2 Entries in one stock for that day .

As for increasing daytradin tendencies, here is my take. If someone enters 3 stocks on Monday , and then sell those three on Tuesday , then re-enters three more stocks on Tuesday and closes them on Tueday he will have totalled 3 executions on Monday and 9 executiuons on Tuesday , but come Wednesday he will only be able to execute a maximum of 6 because he will only be able to enter three trades , (No Open positions where carried overnight) and close them that day if he wishes. )

This does not change the current way of doing the counting other than removes the restriction to sell once the 6 current trade limit is exceeded, Total trades stay the same.
