CD, I thank you and everyone else for your inputs, i appreciate them and its why this board works. My explanation of the 10% rule was more for education and not necessarely directed at you and AL.. I Apologize if this is what has occured. Another reason I imposed a mandatory stop loss was to activate the bad trades in order to record them in history. If a bad trade is left open and unrecorded over time it loses its important message delivery mechanism. If one does not properly account for his/her win/loss ratio, they will never know what adjustments must be taken to ensure as you say " make the total losses add up to less than the gains".
