As for your Number 6, while, the western world was lingering under its "dark ages" Muslims had their own golden age. Muslims are responsible for the development of Algebra (an Arabic word "Al Hebra", if memory serves, meaning in essence the art of "additions"), they invented for us the number "Zero", the basis for mathematical equations, they brought the art of paper making to the western world, without which, books and widespread learning would have been impossible. Muslims invented the first "cheque" without which widespread non barter trading would be impossible. Muslims preserved libraries of the Greek and Roman writers, which the popes were trying to burn and destroy, they systematically translated these works (and other classical works) to modern languages, preserving the human heritage from the classical period. The list is too long for such a short post. I would just suggest that "generalisations" and "tagging" of full races and religions are never useful in bringing about better understanding between the various streams of humanity. Zeev
