Interesting proposal. I'd have to explore the idea further, but I do embrace the concept of doing all we can to help America's so-called working poor.

My wife once was a food stamp examiner. She had to evaluate whether the recipients were entitled to them. You can be sure they knew the convoluted rules, to the point of having separately labeled kitchen utensils so they could qualify as individual households even though they were not. Many of the recipients, being seasonal employees, were actually entitled even though they made more in a year than my wife and I put together. Go figure.
Yours is a good idea. Let's do it.
