Glad to see the "container as a nuclear bomb" problem is getting some belated press. I am afraid that we will do nothing until a bomb actually hits us. Too expensive, too complicated, and the money goes to the wrong people. I guess we should now be expecting a proposal to beef up the future national missile defense system so that it can detect at sea an incoming container ship bearing bombs and destroy it with a sophisticated ballistic missile.
