They would have been discovered, figured out, etc, sooner or later by someone else, if they hadn't of done it. What's more important is what they did with the knowledge. If we divide the world into east and west, why are they not at the same place as we are? We didn't have a head start of a few thousand years, and that's why we're where we are and that's why they're where they are. We all "started" more or less at the same time. So what happened to them and their progress? I believe it's because of their religion. Their religious leaders have them so under control that they can't get anything done. This control is gained by the "inches". Praying 7 times a day, for example. I'm sure when the religion started they didn't have all the rules and regulations, (rituals) but each generation added a few more, and in doing so, locked down the populations. Look at the people in the U.S., the menonites? (the ones that don't allow modern machinery etc) For them, the world has stopped in the 1800's. If they were to gain control of the world where would we be 100, 500, 1000 years from now. We'd still be riding around on horses. They don't want control of the world, though. Don't make apologies and excuses for the muslims, they are responsible for their "position" in the world, & if they want to participate in the future, they have to change themselves, or we have to change them. IMO...........How that change comes about seems to be coming to head, now. fWIW, I don't believe that the free world should have to, or be subjected to, a 50 or a 100 year war to bring this about. Why should our "leaders" subject us to that, and why should the 5 billion people on the planet who are NOT muslims have to endure it? Because you see, at this point in time we hold ALL the cards. We have the technology, the means, the ability to not wage a 50 or a 100 year war, IF WE DON'T WANT TO. We can finish the job in a matter of days, and then the world can get on with the direction it was headed in before Set. 11, 2001. And that direction was headed toward a truly golden era. An era of peace, scientific, medical discovery, and space exploration.
