You seem to be talking about a graduated national sales tax as opposed to a flat tax on income. That would be even more discriminatory to the middle class and working poor.

Proposed Constitutonal Amendment: The text of ALL laws written for the purpose of raising revenue for the use the Government of the United States, must fit on 10 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheets of paper in #12 Times New Roman type. Please feel free to amend as you see fit. It could easily work if there were no slimeball corrupt politicians involved.
