We got a hot deal in a condo with a big swimming pool, and poolside bar for $195/ week. Not my usual style of travel, but great fun for a week of sun and drunken debauchery. I'd have to say that my favorite food is almost always street food. The stuffed potatoes, and seafood from the carts downtown at night are delicious, but it's the way people are joking, and the atmosphere that makes it even more so. we had la emparreada de mariscos one night on the ceramic dish with coals underneath. Oh and on Dia de los muertos we bought food at the cemetary, the best of which was the shrimp tamales. Yum Yum. Do tell about your shrimp tip...
