dear j-f-shuffle,,,, In you post you described nothing anywhere you can't find here and things here you can't find there. And we know you don't like it when Americans cheer for their teams. I loved the way Americans cheered for shrillary. Unlike many posters on this thread, New Yorkers learn to spot and smell crap.

duuhhhhh still waiting.

I have not seen anything or heard any arguement that refutes this.

I am 43 yrs old. I have traveled some, read and watched a lot, talked to hundreds if not thousands who, collectively, have traveled more than you or I will ever in our lifetime. It is outside the scope of this forum and my capability to catalouge it all. You don't need to believe me, I took you at your word and did not deride your credentials.

your definition of a whiney, elitist ingrate is a person you would allow has some intelligence but who has an opinion different than yours.

No, a whiney, intellectual ingrate is usually a person of great intellect. This, they believe makes them and their opinions superior to other people, hence, elitist. Despite all the good this country has done here and around the world, they still bitch and complain because there is still something askew of their picture of how this country "ought to be/do". This makes them whiners. Finally, they show no appreciation for the sacrafices past generations have made and continue to make, enabling them to live in a country of such great oppurtunity. This makes them ingrates.

Whiney, intellectual ingrates. You think we have too many Bible thumpers, I think we have too many whiney, intellectual ingrates. Our great country affords us the ablility to differ about many things.

Great country, ain't it?
