"They" are the anti american commentators on this board Thomas. You know, the ones who expect us take 4500+ deaths at the WTC and say "oh, it's our own fault for not helping all those dictatorships in the middle east. You know Thomas, the dictatorships who treat their people like dirt. Who don't give a rat's behind about anything but themselves. The one's who steal from the UN the food left there for the winter. The one's who take humanitarian aid and confiscate it and use it to bribe their own people.

"They" Thomas, are the ones who support pieces of trash like Arafat, Ghadaffi, that prima dona from Saudi Arabia, etc....

If the shoe fits.

Certainly not Edward Said, the only commentator mentioned in Nadine's post. He criticizes Arafat vehemently.

Said criticizes Arafat's corruption while ignoring Arafat's open embrace of terrorism. If he admitted that Arafat is currently running a terrorist campaign, it would undercut his message of suffering innocent Palestinians and Israeli oppressors. For the same reasons, he pretends that Barak's offers at Camp David never happened.
