CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

ITT Industries, Cape Canaveral, Fla., is being awarded a
$32,649,398 cost-plus-award-fee and firm-fixed-price contract
modification to provide for program management, systems
engineering and installation/integration, depot maintenance,
product acquisitions and modifications for the spacelift range
systems contract. These efforts include operation and
maintenance products, new procurements and funding from
commercial range users for modification to legacy
communications, telemetry and range safety subsystems to meet
their near-term launch requirements. At this time, $9,375,316
has been obligated. This work will be completed October 2006.
The Space and Missile Center, El Segundo, Calif., is the
contracting activity (F04701-01-C-0001, P00010).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a
$19,359,999 firm-fixed-price contract modification. This action
modifies the production of 35 C-17 aircraft (lots 13-15) by
providing for the incorporation of Terrain Awareness Warning
System hardware and software into the aircraft. At this time,
$9,560,220 has been obligated. The Aeronautical Systems Center,
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting
activity (F33657-96-C-2059, P00138).

NAVY

Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being
awarded a $9,700,000 modification to previously awarded advance
acquisition contract (N00019-00-C-0183) to provide additional
funding for the fabrication of CV-22 unique developmental test
items. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (50%); Fort
Worth, Texas (35%); and Amarillo, Texas (15%), and is expected
to be completed in December 2004. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air
Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting
activity.

Tetra Tech EM Inc., Chicago, Ill., is being awarded a maximum
amount of $8,000,000 with a guaranteed minimum of $50,000 (base
period) firm-fixed-price,
indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery contract for
architect-engineering services. The total contract amount is
not to exceed $40,000,000 (base period and four option years).
Work will be performed at various Navy and Marine Corps
installations in California (85%), Arizona (6%), Nevada (2%),
New Mexico (1%), Utah (1%), Alaska (1%), Washington (1%), Oregon
(1%), Idaho (1%), and Montana (1%) and is expected to be
completed in November 2006. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was slated
and selected under Brooks Bill (Public Law 92-582) procedures.
There were 10 proposals submitted in response to a Commerce
Business Daily notice, and three firms were included on the
approval slate. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command,
Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting
activity (N68711-00-D-0005).

Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Va., is being awarded a
$6,658,525 cost-plus-fixed-fee level of effort contract for
planning and design yard functions for standard Navy valves to
provide support for nuclear powered submarines. Work will be
performed in Newport News, Va., and is expected to be completed
in September 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $5,319,816
will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This
contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems
Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity
(N00024-02-C-2106).

IMO "CSPI" should be getting a taste of the ITT contract
