re: FBCE

Zeev & all,
I have recently spotted an "EQUITY LINE OF CREDIT" financing among the stock groups I'm more or less watching (fiberoptics) : FBCE - Fibercore.

They did an ELOC to purchase XTAL S.A. in Brazil. The ELOC was provided by Crescient: biz.yahoo.com

Now, the financing had a max amount of $30m. $14m had been drawn down, so $16m are left to be "called". I do like this company from a business case standpoint but would like to play this scenario favourably from the long side when entering again. As it could have been expected FBCE's stock tanked from $8 this February towards the $2 level now.

The current consolidation (LU selling its Spectran unit) in FO preforms could be quite advantagous to the remaining players in the mid to long term (GLW, Furukawa, FBCE)

Now here the key question: how to play this best ? Wait for the remaining financing to be drawn down ?
