Hi CB, Re: My own skepticism is based on my understanding of the past. If they really did all the nasty things you think they did, they weren't stupid enough to leave paper trails. Well, we aren't dealing with Boy Scouts here CB. I fully expected that all the incriminating stuff would always be redacted anyway. But that is akin the military's "will neither confirm nor deny" wink-and-nod routine. A full imperial decree to privileged silence just has an rotten aroma in a democracy. Salaams, Ray PS: I read the other response and, yes, the Watergate tapes would be a perfect example of an arrogant mistake on the part of a paranoid President.
