I am not saying Chomsky's calculation is perfect, or it is easy to accurately calculate the damage. But one should try to assess the damage beyond simplistic body counts. Maybe Chomsky should have picked a better example.

By the way, my guess is that it's homegrown terrorists that did the anthrax.


Anthrax is showing up in Pakistan now. I don't think our homegrown militias have any particular beefs with Pakistan.
