Veritas Software (VRTS: news, chart, profile) plans to unveil an expanded sales and marketing alliance with IBM (IBM: news, chart, profile), according to sources close to the company. The announcement could come as early as this week -- Veritas is hosting an analyst meeting in Mountain View, Calif., on Thursday.
