I'm not talking about pie-in-the-sky either. The billion-dollar tax breaks for Big Business are incorporated into the GOP economic recovery bill passed by the House on a 216-214 vote about 10 days ago. This is the Republican blueprint for economic recovery: Billions for Big Business, $300 for you and me. So this is what the Republican House HAS done. Like you, I'm thankful that Tom Daschle is now Senate Majority leader, not Senate Minority leader, because such provides some kind of check and balance on the right-wing extremists in control of the U.S. House.
