Once the public understands what makes an economy really hum and that a good economy is the best thing humanly achievable for the plight of the poor they will insist on a lean government with the lowest possible taxes. They will also understand that a tax that is passed on to the consumer is a big waste of productive energies. That is why the demolibs fight so hard against such ideas, they know they are then doomed to the trash heap.
