ENE has a bastard step sister named AES who also has been dethroned. Securitytrader has a nice chart on AES. Looks like some call options are in order for Monday.

My guess is that the economy will recover in 2002 but profits will be way over the horizon for many companies, excluding tech and energy. I think the tech bubble shake out could take much longer to shake out excess capacity and to develop some demand.

THe natural gas plays will be the earnings stars for 2002 and 2003. BJS WFT NBR PTEN NE KEG ESV MVK GRP will be where I concentrate my investments.

I shook out MIR ILA last week as the energy merchants cant get no respect. But EPG is still growing production so I have retained a position there.
