I believe that Hank was talking about an operating profit, not a one time gain on the sale of underperforming assets. BTW, it's interesting that most of that $20M gain is flowing on over to their friends at Zensano, a private non reporting company, in an "arm's length" transaction. It looks like GUMM is paying $17M for the remaining 40% of the incredibly profitable and sure fire Zicam business. If this price is to be believed, the entire Gel Tech venture is worth a whopping $42.5M (actually, a little less once you work back to the NPV of the future payments). I bet the folks at Zensano will be really mad when they find out how badly they've been snookered.

Of course, some GUMM shareholders might wonder why people who are very knowledgeable about Zicam's business are selling out for such a small amount right before the beginning of cold season. These skeptics need to keep faith with GUMM's management, taking comfort in their superior business skills and proven track record.

About the only thing not credible here is your insistence that you know what you're talking about. Only a complete idiot like you would be pleased about the fact that, after all these years, the only way this pathetic POS can show a profit is by selling off assets. That's not a legitimately profitable year by anybody's standards except yours. Discount the sale and they are STILL net money LOSERS.

Always have been, always will be. What will their hat trick be for next year Mikey? Want to bet on that?
