Limtex,

I have a desktop file called "Family Photos" which contains about 60 albums or so.
Each time we have family event, vacation,... I copy the raw images from my CF cards
to a file within the desktop file with the appropriate name like "Thanksgiving 2001" and
then organize and name photos within the album. The software I use to open the albums is
called "Image Expert" which came free with my Epson digital camera. This program is from
Sierra software and allows one to view thumbnails of the entire album and then expand
selected photos with a double-click. I edit and crop the raw images as desired.

If you check in you Nikon box I am sure you have some photo editing and organizing software.
