I can't think of a better scenario than seeing the Muslim world come to grips with the 'us versus terror' question during the upcoming Ramadan period. Should the Islamic world really decide to use that holiday as an excuse to bash the anti-terror cause, it will be clear to all who is friend and who is foe.

I hope they are stupid enough. The Taliban follow in the great Islamic tradition, noted frequently by Israeli commentators...

The Saudis are losing. They are in a panic. Money can't fix this.
Autocratic administrations can't absorb changes fast enough, so they are issuing multiple "fatwas" obviously acting confused, losing credibility with their own people and others.

Leeden of the American Enterprise Institute has something in that trial balloon I agree with, which is unusual:"The president should ... terminate any and all contacts with the mullahs"
Certainly unless the "jihad" were clearly rescinded.
This could be the break we've been waiting for
