A more accurate truth would probably be that the United States is taking over the rest of Mexico by stealth. A lot of people seem to be worried that Mexican immigrants are going to take over parts of the US, but the facts are that they eventually get Americanized just like everybody else. Of course this is slower in some places, but it's just as inevitable. You get more opportunities in the US if you're raised speaking English, so parents tend to do this, even if they're not particularly fluent in it. Parents love their children and, by and large, want only the best for them. -- Carl
