Absolutely Tom! A lot of people have this vision of our military as something out of the vietnam era. Today, our troops are far better trained, far more disciplined, and have far more confidence in their leaders. It's a TOTALLY different military then 30 years ago. While the mainstream press was left stunned by our success in the last Gulf War. I anticipated it. Wearing the enemy down with precision bombs is the worst kind of morale killer. Day after day watching bombs come down on your friends, tanks, ammunition supplies, food and communications equipment is a profoundly devastating thing. Something difficult for us to comprehend. Taking advantage of our domination of the skies is a smart move imo. Time is on our side as our bombs wear them down. The pressure on bin laden to give up will only get greater and greater. His victories will have to be against women and children, because, the manly men are a coming to woop-some-serious-ass! Michael p.s. We might as well go to 200K tonight huh?!!
