Peter, I stopped reading THG when he added all those other guys as contributors. His articles/reviews are nonsense. Anand from Anandtech is the best guy out there by far especially when he's the one doing the reviews.

Peter, You can add this to your list (from LiamC @ Ace's BBS):

Inexplicably, THG use a new 3D rendering program in their Athlon 1900+ review:

..."In view of the current situation, we felt that the Cinema 4D benchmark for 3D rendering is outdated, so we replaced this with the newest version of Lightwave (ver. 7b) from Newtek, which also provides information on rendering performance and is an application used specifically by game developers. This was the software used to create the cult game Diabolo 2, for example."...

tomshardware.com

Nowhere is there mention that Lightwave 7b was hand optimised by Intel for SSE2

Extremetech at least had the decency to state what, where, why and how. I don't believe in conspiracy theories but...

Peter,

The review was made by this guy Frank Volkel, and he always find a way to include the most pro-Intel spin in his articles.
