Bob,

Microsoft in any other democracy would be viewed as a national treasure.JMHO

Agree 100%.

If people want another OS, why not go with Linux, especially if it is free? People vote with their wallets, and MSFT wins hands down time and time again, even when competing with a free product! Yet the Govt claims this is unfair; I for one do not see the logic there, most probably because there is none there. I do not always agree with MSFT pricing, but the marketplace will work that out over time. Enough people migrating to StarOffice will make them competitive on their flagship product, which IMO, is a tad pricey. But I find it utterly amazing at the resources the Govt spent during the past decade going after a company selling a legal product, with a Chairman who gives Billions to charities. What is more amazing is the Judge who ruled against MSFT(Pennfield Jackson) admitted he had trouble turning his computer on! This is the person who will help determine the future course of Technology? Sad.

Regards,

Brian
