Hi Jeff,

Sox poised for a break out:http://www.siliconinvestor.com/research/chart.gsp?i3=4&i2=3&i1=6&i0=8&smaema=1&bbpct=2&period=120&lr=25&compare=&obv=5&chart1=ma&ma2=20&ma1=5&dmi=10&rsi=14&macd2=26&macd1=12&rbv=1&cci=60&sk=12&bbprd=10&wpr=0&chart=candle&s=sox.x&sd=5&mt=22&lotemp=&scale=linear&macds=9&time=60m

Intel looking strong and gapped up in pre-market:http://www.siliconinvestor.com/research/chart.gsp?lotemp=&period=120&chart1=ma&s=intc&compare=&time=60m&i0=8&chart=candle&i1=6&scale=linear&i2=3&i3=4&rbv=1&wpr=0&cci=60&obv=5&dmi=10&macd2=26&macd1=12&sd=5&sk=12&mt=22&rsi=14&lr=25&bbpct=2&bbprd=10&ma1=5&ma2=20&macds=9&smaema=1

Stochastics and momentum are a little high(toppy) - unless Csco rewrites the future tonight.

Gentlemen - Place your bets!!!

Bob

You may be right.. could be on threshold of a breakout for the NAZ. I am inclined however, to go with the next level of resistance up... around 1980 as a clearer threshold. That said, still strictly playing intraday moves here. All daytrading, no swings. The reason: Overall gut feeling is the bear continues full throttle, but I am not willing to put longer term money on it with the current global situation. Among those I'll be watching today:
INKT CREE SPLS,
--After reading latest posting.. I agree.. a wild day indeed ahead of us. Don't forget Fed watch coming up on top of CSCO earnings. Gentlemen, start your charts :)
