Everyone abuses women (and children)- why they get abused right here, in the US of A- you could probably join an organization and do something about it. You article is not the "reason" we are at war. The US does not really care about the abuse of women. RAWA has been complaining for a long time- 12 years at least, I believe. What we do care about is that a bunch of Saudis took a few planes and blasted a few buildings on AMerican soil. I dare say THAT is why we are at war. Your article is, of course, very nice propaganda (hard to verify, very emotional, etc etc), but all wars need propaganda. Just don't confuse propaganda with the real issues, or people will laugh at you.

Boy, THAT was totally unresponsive.
You are trying to shift the focus away from my point, which had nothing to do with the Taliban's abuse of women.
I merely found your source to be of questionable veracity.
But it was a nice try.
